Dengue fever has consumed a young woman who is supposed to be married in a few days.
Dengue fever has consumed a young woman who is supposed to be married in a few days. The bride Chandrakala alias Kavya (18), daughter of Krishnanraju and Reddemma of Narasimhapuram Panchayat TVNRpuram village in Palasamudram Mandal of Chittoor district has to get married on the 30th of last month. Meanwhile she was infected with dengue. She was shifted to the Sholingar Government Hospital in Tamil Nadu for treatment and from there to the Adukumbarai Government Hospital in Vellore.
On the other hand, relatives and villagers reached the wedding hall on Wednesday. The elders tried to bring the bride out of the hospital and tie the knot anyway. The marriage stopped when doctors refused to accept the situation. While both families has been mourning the death of her on Friday after being declared death. The deceased's parents wept bitterly as the daughter had to be sent to the cemetery instead of wedding to be married and sent to Attarinti. Authorities said that woman died of fever not dengue.
