Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy made interesting comments on Maharashtra politics. CM participated in the Jyotirao Phule death anniversary event held at the Thummalapalli Kalakshetra in Vijayawada. He reacted to the situation in Maharashtra by comparing his decision with the AP.
In the big state of Maharashtra, the post of deputy CM was given to only one. But in AP there there are five deputy CMs. There is no state in the country, which have 60% of cabinet with backward castes.
"Fifty per cent reservation has been made for SC, ST and BC in nominated posts and contracts. English medium is introduced in public schools to ensure that the children of poor families to be well educated," said CM.
We have taken this decision with the aim of growing all sectors but the opposition parties have politicising the decision.
