Vijayawada: Former Finance Minister and Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Yanamala Ramakrishnudu has demanded that Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy reveal the details of his Delhi trip and his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

In a press release on Sunday, he said the people of Andhra Pradesh have right to know the details of the tour of Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy and the meeting he had with PM Modi on Saturday.

He wondered why Jagan failed to reveal the details of his meeting with the Prime Minister to the media and the people. He said the State had suffered more loss under the YSRCP rule than the loss suffered by the State following bifurcation. Yanamala pointed out that the Chief Minister's office was issuing press releases and the Chief Minister is keeping silent on his interaction with the Prime Minister.

Referring to the invitation given by the Chief Minister to Narendra Modi for the launching of Rythu Bharosa scheme, the TDP leader said the scheme is not new to the State.

He said the YSRCP government had not paid the fourth and fifth installments of financial assistance to the farmers and the same money will be distributed to the farmers under the Rythu Bharosa scheme.

He said the Union government is sanctioning Rs 6,000 financial assistance to the farmers and the State government would add matching grant to it. He pointed out that the construction activity had crippled in the State and lakhs of workers lost their livelihood due to the anti-people's policies of the government.

He alleged that the YSRCP government had created artificial scarcity of sand and several problems to the common people. He further said that the policies pursued by the State government led to the falling of per capita income of the people of Andhra Pradesh.
