Amaravati: Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy will lay foundation for those temples, which were demolished for road widening during the previous TDP rule, on January 8.

Minister for endowments Vellampalli Srinivas said that Chief Minister will lay foundation for temples demolished in Vijayawada, including Dakshinamukha Anjaneyaswamy, Sitammavari padalu, Rahu-Ketu, Boddubomma, Krishna temple and Gosala on January 8 at 11 am

The minister said the Chief Minister will lay foundation for Rs 70 crore developmental works of Sri Kanaka Durga temple. He said that the state government has made arrangements for reconstruction of 40 temples in the state.

Srinivas alleged that Naidu was trying to create differences between religions for political gain.
