Collector reviews implementation of welfare programmes in Kakinada
D Muralidhar Reddy says the Kanti Velugu programme, which is scheduled to begin from November 1, will cover 7.5 lakh students from Class 6th to 10th
Kakinada: East Godavari District Collector D Muralidhar Reddy said the YSR Kanti Velugu programme will beging from November 1.
Speaking at the divisional-level review meeting at Ramachandrapuram RDO office on Wednesday, the Collector reviewed the implementation of welfare schemes.
The eye screening programme would cover 7.50 lakh students from Class 6th to 10th both in government private schools.
The Collector directed the officials to ensure that all the eligible farmers are covered under the YSR Rythu Bharosa scheme. He stressed the need to upload the data of the eligible farmers who were not covered at present on web land by November 15.
He reviewed the implementation of MNREGS too at the meeting. He directed the officials to ensure that the scheme is implemented to help the poor in rural areas.
