Complete identification of voters by May 30: Joint Collector
Joint Collector Himanshu Shukla directed the officials to identify SC, ST, BC voters in the voters list which was released on May 20.
Guntur: Joint Collector Himanshu Shukla directed the officials to identify SC, ST, BC voters in the voters list which was released on May 20. He conducted a video conference with the Revenue Divisional Officers, Divisional Panchayat Officers, tahsildars and municipal commissioners on Tuesday.
Speaking on this occasion, he directed the officials to complete the identification of SC, ST, BC voters process by May 30 and instructed the staff to go to every house and identify the voters and prepare their list. He instructed to display the voters list in the municipal and panchayat office on May 31 and receive objection on the list before June 6.
He instructed to prepare the voters list on June 10 and keep it in the grama sabhas for acceptance before June 17 and publish final SC, STand BC voters list on June 18 and directed to take steps to enrol all those who attained 18 years of age. District Revenue Office Sri Latha, DPO incharge P Surya Prakash were present.
