Visakhapatnam: P Krishna, PC 1494 (civil) from the city has won gold medal in Triathlon event in 18th World Police and Fire Games held at Chengdu, the capital of China Sichuan province, between August 8 and 18.
There were 70 nations that took part in the games. Krishna joined as a police constable in Visakhapatnam city in the year 2009 and presently working at Bheemunipatnam traffic police station.
Earlier, he had bagged several medals in various events and brought laurels to the police department at national and international levels. The Commissioner of Police, Visakhapatnam city and other officers congratulated him on his success.
