Coronavirus update: 232 new cases reported in Andhra Pradesh taking tally to 8,83,082 In the latest health bulletin released by the state health and family welfare department, as many as 232 new coronavirus cases were reported in the Andhra Pradesh. The latest cases were confirmed when 40,177 samples were tested in the last 24 hours, which brings the number of covid cases in the state to 8,83,082.
Meanwhile, one each in Chittoor, Guntur, Visakhapatnam and West Godavari districts had died while receiving coronavirus treatment within 24 hours taking the total number of deaths with covid so far in the state to 7,115. On the other hand, about 352 people fully recovered from the coronavirus and currently, there are 3,070 active cases.
The state has so far conducted tests for 1,19,72,780 samples across the state. The district wise data reveals that East Godavari district has reported 1,23,766 cases with highest followed by West Godavari 93,924 and Chittoor 86,304 which stood at top three positions respectively.
