Create ambience for free & fair poll, observer tells officials

Polavaram: The general election observer Eluru parliamentary constituency Dev Dutt Sharma has urged the officials to create a suitable atmosphere with tight security so that voters can exercise their franchise without any fear.He inspected the polling stations at Polavaram, Gutala, LND Peta under Polavaram Assembly constituency here on Saturday.
Speaking on the occasion, Sharma directed the officials to make all arrangements for the peaceful polling. He also ordered them to provide basic facilities at the polling stations.The observer made a special mention of arrangements for visually-challenged and told the officials to take steps and ensure the voters never face problem in reaching the polling station and exercising their franchise. They should not be allowed to wait for long in the queues in casting their vote, he instructed the officials.
