Kakinda: Sri Devi Navarathri celebrations were held on a grand scale at Goddess Ayiswaryambika Devi Temple at Sree Peetham here on Friday. The Goddess was decorated with Goddess `Gayatri Devi.' The devotees thronged to the Sree Peetham with large numbers and came from several parts of Andhra Pradesh.
The women devotees performed Kumkum Pujas under supervision of Pandit Sai Pradeep. On Friday night, `Santikalyanam performed for the Goddes. Dr Lakshmi discoursed spiritual speech on `Devi Puraanam'. On Thursday, the Goddess would give avatar to the devotees `as `Saraswathi Devi'.
