Gudivada: As part of nominations for the Assembly elections, two candidates filed their nominations on Thursday, said the Gudivada RDO and returning officer GV Satya Vani.
She said TDP candidate Devineni Avinash filed two sets of nomination papers at around 1:56 pm contesting from Gudivada constituency. Vemuri Basavakutumba Rao also from the TDP filed nomination papers from Gudivada constituency, said the returning officer.
Gundapaneni Rajakumari of Pyramid Party of India, who filed nomination papers on March 18, filed one more set of nomination papers on Thursday. Avinash was followed by Raavi Venkateswara Rao, Yalavarthi Srinivas Rao and a huge crowd at the RDO office to file the nomination.
