Two-day national tech festival GWEST 2k19 has started at Department of Civil Engineering, MVGR College of Engineering (A). Addressing the students, Samarth Infra Engineering Technocrats Associate Director Chakravarthi Vedula advised them to nurture their skills to reach higher positions.

Addressing the students, Samarth Infra Engineering Technocrats Associate Director Chakravarthi Vedula advised them to nurture their skills to reach higher positions.

Chakravarthi said the demand for civil engineering would be more in the coming days as the government was giving top priority for the construction of highways and irrigation projects. He also suggested that students should focus more on learning basics for getting good opportunities.

College Principal Dr K V L Raju suggested the students to improve communication and technical skills, which can't be taught and learn in the classrooms. Dr P Markandeya Raju,HoD Civil Engineering Department, Dr S Chandra Mouli, Senior Professor and Sai Sree, Fest Student Convener shared the dais.
