Every mandal allotted 104, 108 vehicles: Minister Mekathoti Sucharita
Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita said that they allotted 104 and 108 vehicles to every mandal in the district
Guntur: Home Minister Mekathoti Sucharita said that they allotted 104 and 108 vehicles to every mandal in the district. She said in addition to this, the district got two neonatal ambulances and life supporting ambulances.
She along with district collector I Samuel Anand Kumar on Thursday distributed ambulances to various mandals in the district at a programme held at Police Parade Grounds in Guntur. She said that 72 medicines will kept in the 104 ambulances in addition to existing 10 medicines. The ambulance staff will go to villages and test BP and sugar and give necessary medicines.
The 108 ambulances will be used to carry the injured in the accidents to the hospitals. The government will set up village clinics and set up a medical college in every Parliament constituency. She flagged off the vehicles. Joint collector P Prasanti, MLAs Dr Undavalli Sridevi, Maddali Giridhara Rao, Vidadala Rajini, district revenue officer NVV Satyanarayana, DMHO Dr Y Yasmin were among those participated.
