Revenue decreased, Amaravati and Polavaram went back, no growth and development

Amaravati: The BJP National General Secretary Ram Madhav lambasted the Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy for his failures in one year governance, while addressing the party leaders in the State through Virtual Rally, on Wednesday. The BJP has been conducting virtual rallies on completion of six years governance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He addressed from Hyderabad and the leaders and cadre participated from across the 13 districts.

In his speech, he criticised that Jagan utterly failed. Ram Madhav said that due to the policy failures, the AP government's revenue drastically came down in the last one year. Recalling the reverse growth in the AP, the BJP leader criticised that everything was reverse in the state. Starting from Amaravati capital, Polavaram construction, promise on liquor sales stoppage and everything going back, he mentioned. Further, the YSRCP government dared to sell out the TTD properties and went back after public gave a befitting protest against this proposal.

He further added that the out of the Rs 5000 financial assistance distributed to the farmers by the State government, the central government contributed Rs 4000. But, it was not revealed by the State government, he observed. In addition to that the ration and other products in the public distribution system was given by the prime minister Narendra Modi government but the State governments claiming that they have given to the poor from their pockets. Despite of the drastic downfall in the revenue to Andhra Pradesh, the union government released Rs 45,000 cr for the well being of the people in the State, he added.

AP BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana, other leaders like Satya Kumar, Vakati Narayana Reddy, CM Ramesh, Vishnu Vardhan Reddy and Purandeswari participated in Hyderabad. V Satish, Sunil Deodhar, GVL Narasimha Rao from Delhi, Sujana Chowdary from his residency, Somu Virraju and Manikyala Rao from Vijayawada and TG Venkatesh from Kurnool also participated in this programme.
