BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana paid rich tributes to Jnanpith Award recipient Gurram Jashuva’s statue at Nagarampalem in Guntur city on Saturday
Guntur: BJP State president Kanna Lakshminarayana paid rich tributes to Jnanpith Award recipient Gurram Jashuva's statue at Nagarampalem in Guntur city on Saturday on the occasion of his 124th birth anniversary celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, he recalled how Jashuva fought against untouchability in the society through his writings and created awareness among the people. He urged the youth to draw inspiration from him and follow in his footsteps.
Former minister and BJP leader Ravela Kishore Babu recalled that Jashuva fought against casteism and also fought against untouchability at national level. BJP leaders Talla Venkatesh, Nutakki Sarada, T V Rao and Koteswara Rao participated. He said we are proud of Jashuva for born in Guntur district. He urged the youth to follow in his footsteps.
