Guntur: MLC Dokka Manikya Vara Prasad urged the people follow footsteps of Mahatma Gandhi and added that fulfilling his dream is a real tribute to him.
He paid tributes to Mahatma Gandhi at his statue at the Jinnah Tower Centre here Tuesday on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi to mark the 150th birth anniversary celebrations on Wednesday. The programme was held under the aegis of Amaravati Institute of Sciences.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that Gandhiji's teachings were always relevant to all of us and following it was the best solution to all our problems. Former MLC Dr Rayapati Srinivasa Rao and others participated.
