Police have arrested four accused in connection with the murder where it was found that the deceased's wife and boyfriend allegedly paid Rs 10 lakh to two persons to kill Brahmaiah. The details were revealed by SP Vishal Gunny at a press conference held on Saturday in the conference hall of the district police office premises.

It is learnt that Bhashyam Brahmaiah (45), a hotel manager, died under suspicious circumstances in Pedakurapadu Mandal 75 Thalluru village. Sai Kumari, wife of deceased and her boyfriend Ashok Reddy plotted to kill Brahmaiah. Two months ago, Tokada Pawan Kumar and Sheikh Sharif of Machilipatnam teamed up with Supari for Rs 10 lakh, thinking that no one would identify the culprits behind the murder. Both defendants repeatedly held Rekki after taking the advance.

According to the plan, on the 4th of this month while Brahmaiah was going to dump the waste in the suburbs the accused, who was guarding the place, forcibly killed Brahmaiah by making him drink a potash solution called cyanide. Before the assassination of Brahmaiah, a dog was experimentally put to death.
