In an incident, a gang of six members have abused a woman and attacked her brothers at midnight in Vijayawada on Wednesday.

According to information received, a young woman (20) belong to Srinivasa Mahal area in Kothapet here in the city was taken to a private hospital by her brothers in an auto at midnight as her health was not well.
After which, they went to Pandit Nehru bus station to have tiffin. On seeing the girl eating tiffin alone, a gang of six members has approached her and started misbehaving, and the brothers who were on the side had tried to object them.
In this context, the gang had attacked them and escaped in the vehicle. Over the incident, the women called to the control room, and on receiving the information, Krishnalanka police have registered a case and investigating further.
