Girl ends life in hostel
Difficult to cope with the blame of stealing money from her hostel mate, G Sashi (17) of Guttavaripalem of Guntur district committed suicide on Thursday.
Vijayawada: Difficult to cope with the blame of stealing money from her hostel mate, G Sashi (17) of Guttavaripalem of Guntur district committed suicide on Thursday. Sashi was studying senior Intermediate in Vignan College. There was misunderstanding with her hostel mate for quite some time about stealing money.
The hostel mate expressed doubts on Sashi and suspected her of stealing money. Unable to bear the humiliation of theft, she took the extreme step by hanging in the room. On noticing the incident on Thursday morning, the students informed the management of the college and they intern informed the police about the suicide.
Nallapadu Circle Inspector Veeraswamy along with police force visited the spot and inquired about the incident. A case was registered and investigation is on.
