Godavari Boat Accident: Is Extraction of The Boat Is Impossible?
It seems, there has been no progress in the extraction works of Royal Vashishta tourist boat, which sunk in the river Godavari at Kachchuluru on September 15.
It seems, there has been no progress in the extraction works of Royal Vashishta tourist boat, which sunk in the river Godavari at Kachchuluru on September 15. Dharmadi Satyam team of Balaji Marines have tried to bring the boat out by implementing various strategies. However, all the plans have gone in vain.
Besides, the floods in the Godavari increased due to heavy rain. As a result, the extraction works had stopped on the fourth day. Balaji Marines who grabbed the contract of lifting the boat for Rs.22,70,000 along with other equipment has failed to bring the boat out from last four days that struck in the sand at a depth of 250 feet.
Going by the latest developments, it is suspected that it is impossible to bring the boat out. On the other hand, the operation has become difficult as the rope immersed in the river is not steady due to the stream in the river. Let's wait and see will there be any scope to bring the boat out.
