Grama Volunteer ends life in Prakasam after being insulted by computer operator

Sheik Zubeda (20), a grama volunteer from Yerragondapalem of Prakasam district has committed suicide on Saturday after being insulted by a computer operator at Tehsildar's office.

It is learned that the computer operator have made insulting remarks against Zubeda who was depressed and took the extreme step. She hanged herself from an irod rod in bathroom and died.

Based on the complaint lodged by Zubeda's mother, the police registered a case against Siva Prasad Chary who is believed to have threatened to dismiss Zubeda if she did not complete the assigned work.

A man hunt was lodged to nab Siva Prasad who had gone absconding.
