Guntur: Two masons commit suicide due to unavailability of work
A Manson who is deprived of livelihood due to sand scarcity allegedly committed by suicide by hanging in his house at Undavalli under Tadepalli mandal of Guntur district.
Guntur: A Manson who is deprived of livelihood due to sand scarcity allegedly committed by suicide by hanging in his house at Undavalli under Tadepalli mandal of Guntur district. According to police deceased, G Nagaraju was working as a manon. His wife is working as a housemaid in an apartment complex. Due to sand scarcity, he had no work for some time, which led to disputes between wife and husband.
Unable to bear the mental torture, he committed suicide by hanging with a saree the house.
Meanwhile, another construction worker, Adapa Ravi residing in Ponnur allegedly committed suicide by consuming pesticide. He had no work due to sand scarcity. He borrowed over Rs.2-lakhs. Deprived of livelihood, he consumed pesticide and committed suicide.
