Help farmers get Rythu Bharosa benefits, officials told District Collector
West Godavari District Collector R Muthyala Raju has directed the officials concerned to help farmers get benefits under the Rythu Bharosa scheme at the earliest.
Eluru: West Godavari District Collector R Muthyala Raju has directed the officials concerned to help farmers get benefits under the Rythu Bharosa scheme at the earliest.
He held a review meeting on the Rythu Bharosa scheme with Tahsildars through videoconference from his office on Wednesday night. Speaking on the occasion, the District Collector asked the officials to complete verification of eligible beneficiaries under the scheme within two days.
For getting details of farmers and registering their names, the officials should take the assistance of village volunteers. The details should be summarized as per the guidelines. He instructed them to provide details of registered farmers who did not get scheme funds in their bank accounts.
They should talk to the officials of the banks concerned and ensure that funds should be deposited without any further delay, he directed. Joint Collector N Tej Bharat, Joint Director of Agriculture Department Ghousia Begum and other officials were present.
