The meeting of governing Council of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam was held on Monday after the members taking oath.
Tirupati: The meeting of governing Council of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam was held on Monday after the members taking oath. The meeting was chaired by YV Subbareddy. The members have discussed on various issues and took a couple of decisions such as resolving the water issue by building Balaji Reservoir in place of Avilala tank.
The TTD board assured TTD employes that a committee will be set-up to resolve their issues. The Shrivari Temple, which is being built in the capital of AP, Amravati, has been allocated Rs 150 crore by the last government.
However, Chairman YV Subbareddy said that an amount 36 crores will be released for current works. company had compiled 36 crores. He also said, after declaring Tirupati as a smart city, it is not necessary to allocate TTD funds to Amaravati. the chairman also said that the funds will be allocated to the Garuda bridge after consulting with the government.
