Kakinada: CITU district general secretary C Rajkumar demanded that the State government to punish officers involved in corruption in the purchase of drugs and other medical equipment in Employees State Insurance (ESI) hospitals.
CITU activists and leaders staged a dharna at the ESI Hospital here on Monday. Speaking on the occasion, Rajkumar said that during the TDP regime, purchase of Rs 430 crore worth of drugs and medical equipment were reported. He demanded that the State government immediately punish the corrupt persons and recover the amount.
