Kakinada: ESI Foundation Day celebrated
MP Vanga Geetha said that Employees State Insurance (ESI) scheme in India is a multidimensional and most preferred social security system customized to provide the socio-economic protection to worker population and their dependents covered under the scheme.

Coromandel International Limited celebrated ESI Foundation Day at Coromandel office here on Monday. The MP participated as chief guest. She said that the Corporation conducts regular health camps at the industries. Camps are considered as a stepping stone at reforming and improving the health of the workers for better productivity at industries.
She said that the health camps promote confidence among the workers and management of the industries in social security systems. She said that every year the Corporation conducts health check up camps from February 24 to March 10. Coromandel unit head Ravi Kiran and others were present.
