Kakinada: Sanitation workers stage dharna

Kakinada: Sanitation workers under the auspices of CITU staged a dharna in front of Kakinada Municipal Corporation on Thursday, demanding reinstating of the dismissed workers.

CITU city president Palivela Veerababu urged the government to direct KMC to hire workers who were sacked from sanitation department. He said that for the past three months the workers did not get justice. Sanitation workers' families have been facing a lot of difficulties and it was not fair to dismiss them.
