The event was held at local Tahsildar’s office under the chairmanship of the Revenue Divisional Officer.
Puttaparthi MLA Palle Sindhura Reddy and former Minister Dr Palle Raghunatha Reddy presented the documents.
Speaking on the occasion, MLA Sindhura Reddy said farmers’ welfare is the primary objective of the alliance government under Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu. She stated that the government is working to ensure complete security of farmers’ lands and bring transparency to the revenue system through digitisation of land records. Special attention is being given to resolving issues concerning 22-A and Chukkala lands, issuance of pattadar passbooks and rectification of records.
She announced that special public grievance programmes would soon be organised so that farmers need not make repeated visits to government offices. Krishnapuram farmers expressed happiness at the resolution of a problem pending for years and thanked the MLA and former Minister for their initiative.
