Guntur: A man murdered a financier for demanding repayment of his debt in Krosuru mandal in the wee hours of Sunday which came to light on Monday.
According to police, Gopi Krishna, took Rs.5 lakh hand loan from Krishna Prasad of Garikipadu under Krosuru mandal, two years ago. The latter has been demanding clearance of his debt.
On Sunday accused GopiKrishna said he arranged liquor party in the agriculture fields and took Krishna Prasad to the agriculture fields. Gopi Krishna murdered Krishna Prasad in the agriculture fields. Later, Gopi Krishna surrendered to police.
