Mangalagiri: JANA SENA expressed concern over the lackadaisical attitude of the state government in providing employment to the youth.
The party said in a statement here on Thursday that the youth is losing hope that the government will hold examinations without any legal tangles or other obstacles in the given dates even if the Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC) issued notification for filling vacant posts. Though the government had announced the decision to release calendar for filling the posts in January every year, there is not even one single step in this direction till now.
A gloomy atmosphere pervaded among the unemployed youth over the filling of posts through APPSC as the government has no proper planning over it, the party said.
It is almost two years since issuing of notification for Group I examination. The unemployed are forced to approach the court stating that there were 51 mistakes in prelims exam. Unfortunately, the APPSC had not taken the objections raised by the job aspirants into consideration. The Commission is getting ready to hold Mains exams this month.
The job aspirants have brought to the notice of Jana Sena that the dates of the Group I Main examination have to be changed since the higher education eligibility exams are being held on the same dates.
They expressed concern that the job-seekers are losing an opportunity due to holding APPSC exams without proper planning and announcing exam dates without considering the other notification dates.
The top officials of APPSC have to consider the concerns of the unemployed youth on humanitarian grounds. They are preparing for other job exams also. The situation should not be like losing one exam for appearing for another exam. Hence, the state government should take into consideration the concerns of the youth since their woes can be lessened if Group I exams are postponed.
The Janasena opined that the APPSC must issue notifications without causing any disputes and mistakes and conduct the examinations.
