Mudana, who had been in the party for several years and was expected to be the chairman of DCMS, was dissatisfied with giving it to somebody else. He said he resigned from the party. He has stated that he has no affiliation with the YSRCP. He said that he would discuss the political future with his followers. It is rumored that he will join the BJP soon.

Recently, Prakasam district DCMS chairman was given the party leader Ravi Ramanathanam Babu. Ramanadham Babu, who was formerly the in-charge of the YCP, was denied ticket in the last election for the sake of Daggaubati Venkateswara Rao.
