Naidu warns officials over filing false cases against TDP workers
TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday warned the officials who were foisting false cases against the TDP workers that stern action would be taken against them in future.
Vijayawada: TDP national president N Chandrababu Naidu on Tuesday warned the officials who were foisting false cases against the TDP workers that stern action would be taken against them in future. Addressing the Krishna District TDP extended meeting here on Tuesday, he said that the TDP would not remain a mere spectator to the misdeeds of the present administration.
He recalled that some officials were acting in a similar manner to what they did during the regime of former Chief Minister Y S Rajasekhara Reddy in the past and pointed out that they had paid a price for it. He said that he would protect his party workers at any cost if necessary by sacrificing his life also. "No one has the capacity to destroy the TDP. The people who wish to do so would themselves pay a price.
I worked hard for the State development. I did not commit any mistake. From the first day onwards, the YS Jagan government had been striving hard to find my mistakes. But they cannot find anything. He wondered as to how false cases were booked against TDP MLA Vamsi. The TDP would protect him, he said. Chief Minister YS Jagan cheated the people by not implementing his promises, he said and added that he never saw such worse government in the past.
Naidu pointed out that he worked hard day and night for the State development but the present Chief Minister was playing video games. He said sand scarcity is Y S Jagan's drama. Several lakhs of building workers were facing difficulties to eke out a living due to non-availability of sand, he said.
Naidu expressed concern over the construction workers resorting to the extreme step of committing suicides unable to take care of their families due to lack of work. The TDP chief also pointed out that the leaders of the YSR Congress had earlier criticised him for announcing war on mosquitoes. Now under the YSRCP rule, the people of the State were suffering from dengue fevers. The State government did not take any steps to control the situation, he said.
Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was also ridiculing the rule of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. Naidu wondered as to what the State government achieved during the last five months. Even they could not construct a single building but they only painted all panchayat buildings with YSRCP colours, he said.
The State government stopped Amaravati and Polavaram projects. Naidu said the TDP was ready to prove reverse tendering is a wrong method. Referring to pensions, Naidu said the government increased old-age pensions only by Rs 250.
The government is yet to provide financial assistance to farmers and auto-workers. Stating that the State witnessed development during the five-year TDP rule, he regretted that all the works came to a halt under the YSRCP regime.
TDP leaders Devineni Uma Maheswara Rao, Nettem Raghuram, Konakalla Narayana, Kesineni Srinivas, Buragadda Vedavyas, Bachula Arjunudu, Budda Venkanna, T Soumya, Bonda Uma Maheswara Rao, Devineni Avinash and several other leaders were present.
