Legal Metrology Authorities have booked five cases against the Big Bazaar organizers in Nellore for collecting prices more than the MRP printed on the product.
Nellore: Legal Metrology authorities have booked five cases against the Big Bazaar organizers in Nellore for collecting prices more than the MRP printed on the product. A consumer had purchased a shampoo bottle on Saturday and the people at the cash counter collected Rs. 260, instead of Rs. 250 printed on the bottle.
Consumer Nagendra immediately reported the issue to the legal metrology wing for checking the irregularities. Inspector Sai Srikar and other team members deputed an employee asking him to buy the same shampoo bottle from the Mall, again the people at the cash counter collected same additional price.
They immediately informed to the deputy controller Thomas Ra-vi Kumar who directed to check thoroughly on the price pattern in the Mall. Finally, they booked five cases against the mall personnel.
