New device to treat cancer introduced Omega Hospital

Addressing the media, Chief Surgical Oncologist M G Nagkishore said radiation therapy for breast cancer can be completed in one day with XOFT electronic Brachytherapy.
Guntur: Omega Hospital introduced XOFT electronic Brachytherapy device to the patients here. This therapy is useful for the cancer patients by the availability of Titanium MRI compatible applicators.
Addressing the media, Chief Surgical Oncologist M G Nagkishore said radiation therapy for breast cancer can be completed in one day with XOFT electronic Brachytherapy. He said this procedure can provide radiation to the Uterine and Cervical cancers directly inside the tumour in the bladder or rectum.
Dr Archana Prattipati said that first stage skin cancer can be completely cured without any surgical treatment by XOFT electronic brachytherapy.
