The ministry of Jal Shakti on behalf of government of Andhra Pradesh has reported to the Prime Minister's Office that no violations have been made in the Polavaram contracts and that all work has commenced only after obtaining the permissions of the respective authorized company.

Pentapati Pullarao's letter to the Prime Minister's Office has been sent to the Ministry of Power and Energy for a detailed explanation of the corruption in the construction of the project. In view of the letter, the Senior Joint Commissioner Anoop Kumar Srivastava sent the details to Prime Minister's Office Director Rajendra Kumar on March 5. He addressed the issues mentioned in the letter written by the AP government on November 13, 2019.

"All decisions have been made only after the approval of relevant authorities. The Department of Vigilance and Enforcement is investigating whether there are any differences in deeds or in the registrations, " Anoop Srivastava said.

He also asserted that once the report is submitted, the AP government would reveal detailed information on the allegations.
