Guntur: CPM Guntur East secretary Pasam Rama Rao said that state Budget to be introduced in the state Assembly on Tuesday indicating that the government has no comprehensive plan for the development of the state.

He felt that the government has given priority for the implementation of Navaratnas and added that the government did not allot funds for the development of the state.

He criticized that the government did not take steps to recover from losses caused by Covid-19 and added that the government did not allot funds in the state Budget to generate employment opportunities.

He criticized that the government did not take steps to sanction loans to the tenant farmers in the Budget. He said the government reduced Budget allotment to the Education when compared with earlier budgets.

Budget is a jugglery of figures and not useful for the development of the state.
