In-charge Collector T Rahul Kumar Reddy directs officials to integrate Anganwadi centres to village and ward secretariats concerned so that the services will continue without interruption

Nandyal: The officials concerned were ordered to ensure that none of the Anganwadi centres should be closed and the services of these centres should continue as usual like before.

In-charge Collector T Rahul Kumar Reddy held a video conference with the officials over providing alternate services due to the indefinite strike by Anganwadi centres here on Thursday. He said that there is possibility that breastfeeding kids and pregnant women face problems as the services may affect due to the strike. He instructed the officials to take steps to continue the services.

He instructed MPDOs, ICDS CDPOs, supervisors, APMs, Deputy CEO, DRDA Project Director and Municipal Commissioners to integrate Anganwadi centres to the village and ward secretariat concerned so that the services will continue without interruption.

Stating that there are around 1,663 (main 1,620 and mini 43) Anganwadi centres in the district, in-charge Collector Rahul

Kumar told the officials

concerned to take steps to see that supply of nutritional food to lactating babies, milk, eggs, balamrutam to children and rice, pulses,

oil, YSR Kits, milk and eggs to pregnant women and breast feeding mothers without fail.
