The NSS Day was celebrated on a grand note at St Ann’s College of Engineering & Technology on Tuesday.

Ongole: The NSS Day was celebrated on a grand note at St Ann's College of Engineering & Technology on Tuesday. Speaking on the occasion, the college principal Dr P Ravi Kumar said that all the NSS students of the college would be given training to take part in social service activity in the days to come.

He said that every year they organise blood donation camps and about 100 students come forward voluntarily to donate blood. SS programme officer M Pavan said that the NSS students of the college have been actively participating in various social service activities for the last ten years and extended his gratitude to the management for organising these activities.

Competition was held for the students on preparing things made from plastic waste and prizes were given. College secretary V Ramakrishna Rao, correspondent S Lakshman Rao, S Amarnath, faculty and students were present.
