Officials told to set up water kiosks
Sub-Collector CM Saikanth Varma directed the officials of Rural Water Supply department to arrange water kiosks in all villages in the division to quench the thirst of the people.
Rajamahendravaram: Sub-Collector CM Saikanth Varma directed the officials of Rural Water Supply department to arrange water kiosks in all villages in the division to quench the thirst of the people.
Addressing the officials of Rural Water Supply department at his office here on Tuesday, he said as the temperature is increasing day by day, it is inevitable to start the water kiosks immediately.
Still election code was in force and party banners or photos of political leaders should not be allowed on water kiosks. He asked the officials to arrange the water kiosks in a planned manner. It is the duty of the officials to bring awareness among the people on seasonal diseases, he said. Deputy medical and health officer Dr P Komali and others were present.
