Vijayawada: The first round of randomisation was done on the allotment of duties to the polling officers as part of upcoming election, said Krishna District Collector and election officer Md Imtiaz here on Friday.

Speaking on the occasion, Imtiaz said "A total of 4,089 polling stations will be set up on April 11 in 16 constituencies and two parliamentary constituencies in the district. A total of 31,742 polling personnel, including 15 per cent reserve staff are ready for electoral management. The training programme for the POs and Assistant Presiding Officers has been completed in the first phase. The second and third phases will be completed soon."
