Science Centre, APPCB conduct 'World Earth Day' programme
Regional Science Centre (RSC), Tirupati in collaboration with AP Pollution Control Board, observed the global event `Earth Day’ here on Monday.
Tirupati: Regional Science Centre (RSC), Tirupati in collaboration with AP Pollution Control Board, observed the global event `Earth Day' here on Monday.
As part of the programme, various awareness programmes were organised at RSC for the benefit of school children and general public.
School team wise quiz programme on `earth and environment was organised for children to create awareness on the need of protecting the environment. A rally was organised and tree plantation programme was also conducted in RSC premises.
SV University UGC Radar Application Centre Director S Vijaya Bhaskar Rao participated as chief guest and gave away prizes to the winners of quiz competition.
SV University Environmental Sciences department head Dr T Damodaram, AP Pollution Control Board Environmental Engineer A Narendra Babu and others were present.
