Section 144 imposed in Palnadu: DGP Sawang
AP DGP Gautam Sawang said in a statement that Section 144, 30 have been imposed in Palnadu region. He said all measures are being taken in order to bring the law and order situation under control.

DGP made clear that there are no permissions for processions, dharnas, and public meetings. He urged all political parties to cooperate with the police in maintaining a peaceful situation in Palnadu.
He warned that strict action would be taken if law and order are disrupted during Ganesh immersion and Muharram festival. Sawang noted that the police department is ready to handle any situation in the Palnadu region.
However, the TDP and YCP are conducting the rehabilitation camps in Palnadu for the victims who were attacked during the clashes between both the parties. In this context, the tension continues to prevail in the region.
