Popular journalist Potturi Venkateswara Rao (86) has passed away on Wednesday night while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Banjara Hills. Potturi Venkatwshwar Rao is reportedly facing health issues for a long time and breathed his last.
Pottur Venkateswara Rao was born on 8th February 1934 at Potturu in Guntur district and served as journalist for over five decades.
In 1957 he started his career as a journalist in Andhra Janata Magazine and later worked for Eenadu, Andhra Bhoomi, Andhra Prabha newspapers. The media houses and journalists mourned on the death of this stallwart.
