A huge fire broke out in Shobhanapuram in Krishna district's Nuzivid mandal on Wednesday.
A huge fire broke out in Shobhanapuram in Krishna district's Nuzivid mandal on Wednesday. Six huts were burnt in the accident. However, no one was home at the time of the accident and the major loss was averted. Upon learning of the accident, firefighters rushed to the scene immediately and brought down the fires with the help of fire engines.
About Rs. 15 lakh worth property damage was reported while there were no casualties reported as there is no one at the time of the accident with which the locals breathed a sigh of relief.
Fire officials arrived at a preliminary assessment that the fire had spread due to leakage of gas cylinder. Police have registered a case over the accident and are investigating further.
