Vijayawada: National Neonatology Forum, AP in association with National Neonatology Forum is organising International Neonatology Conference – South NEOCON 2019 at Hotel Novotel here from June 28 to 30.
Addressing the media, Dr PV Rama Rao, chief organising secretary on Thursday said that this is a first of its kind mega event in which all renowned national and international faculty will deliver talk highlighting on various aspects of newborn health including innovations in newborn health and future of neonatology.
He said that the theme of the conference is 'Preterm birth – Revive, Survive & Thrive', and wish to associate ourselves with different similar professional bodies, national, international organisations and build partnerships to move forward in the direction of improving newborn care in India.
He further said more than 800 delegates are expected to attend this conference. This will also provide a forum for the most useful combination of latest research, review of current theory & practice, and hand–on, problem-based learning, he said and added that they are very happy to organise the prestigious conference in the capital city of Andhra Pradesh.Dr Nori Suryanarayana, organising chairman, chief patrons Dr R Venkateswara Rao, Dr P Durga Prasad, Dr K P Saradhi & Dr Ch Mallikarjuna Rao were present.
