Special trains to help Sabarimala devotees in Visakhapatnam
With a view to clear the extra rush of passengers to Sabarimala, East Coast Railway has decided to run special trains between Visakhapatnam and Kollam from November 11 to January 21, 2020.
Visakhapatnam: With a view to clear the extra rush of passengers to Sabarimala, East Coast Railway has decided to run special trains between Visakhapatnam and Kollam from November 11 to January 21, 2020.
The train number 08515 Visakhapatnam- Kollam weekly special express train will leave Visakhapatnam on Sundays at 11.50 pm and will reach Kollam on Tuesdays at 6.55 am between November 17 and January 19. The train will make 10 trips.
In the return direction, the train number 08516 Kollam-Visakhapatnam weekly special train will leave Kollam on Tuesdays at 10 am and will reach Visakhapatnam on Wednesdays at 6.30 am from November 19 to January 21(10 trips).
This pair of special trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakaplli, Elamanchali, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasthi, Renugunta, Tiruttani, Katpadi, Vaniyambadi, Jollarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimabatore , Palghat, Ottapalam, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Changanaseri, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Mavellkara and Kayankulam between the Visakhapatnam and Kollam stations.
