The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit XI of the Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) organising a special camp on water conservation by youth at Thanapalli village in Tirupati rural mandal for one week.

Tirupati: The National Service Scheme (NSS) Unit XI of the Sri Padmavati Mahila Visvavidyalayam (SPMVV) organising a special camp on water conservation by youth at Thanapalli village in Tirupati rural mandal for one week.

In the programme held on Tuesday, NSS Coordinator Prof J Kathyayani has suggested various steps for the development of the village. During this camp, awareness on water conservation will be provided to women, youth and children.

NSS Unit XI programme officer Dr M Padmavathi, Mandal Praja Parishad school headmistress P Neeraja, teachers P Sudha Rani, Vasuki, Radha Kumari, Venkata Ramana and students of SPMVV MA Economics and MSc Applied Microbiology have participated.

In another camp on water conservation was held at Kuntrapakam village by NSS Unit VII. Its programme officer Dr P Madhavi, teacher Rajeswaramma, G Brahmananda Reddy and villagers took part in the programme.
