"With the damage of Srisailam dam, the state would become deserted with water scarcity. Nagarjuna dam is collapsing. No engineers are coming to work at the dam or the dam. Rajendra Singh expressed the view that governments are not taking responsibilities to maintain the projects other than building projects on rivers. The government should focus on the maintenance of the dam constructed near waterways. Funds should be allocated for the Dam Rehabilitation Improvement Project-2.
