Guntur: As part of `Save Democracy programme, 'TDP leaders, led by party district president G V Anjaneyulu, former Speaker of State Assembly Dr Kodela Siva Prasada Rao,former ministers Prattipati Pulla Rao, Nakka Anand Babu, Alapati Rajendra Prasad, MLA Maddali Giridhar Rao, went to Sattenapalli.

They met Sattenapalli DSP R Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy and Gurazala DSP K Srihari and submitted memoranda demanding action against the YSRCP activists and leaders who attacked on TDP leaders in the state. They visited Pinnelli and some other villages in Machavaram mandal of district.

Speaking on this occasion, Prattipati Pulla Rao flayed that after YSRCP government came to power, attacks on TDP activists were on the rise and the TDP activists are migrating to other places. He demanded action against the YSRCP leaders who attacked TDP activists. He said, it is the responsibility of the police to stop attacks on TDP activists. He warned that they will meet Governor Bishwa Bhushan Harichandan soon to submit a memorandum in this regard.

He said that Sattenapalli DSP R Vijaya Bhaskara Reddy, assured that he will solve the problem within a week and added that they will stay in the villages to create confidence among the party activists.

TDP district president G V Anjaneyulu said that TDP activists are not residing in nine villages of Palnadu region. MLA Maddali Giridhar criticised that there is no law and order in the district represented by Home Minister.
