TDP has no right to speak on Polavaram: MLA Malladi Vishnu
The YSRCP MLA Malladi Vishnu has criticized that the opposition TDP has no right to speak on the Polavaram project.
Amaravati: The YSRCP MLA Malladi Vishnu has criticized that the opposition TDP has no right to speak on the Polavaram project.
Speaking to presspersons at Assembly media point on Friday, MLA Vishnu said that the TDP members don't want a debate over the Polavaram project. He commented that the opposition members are creating an unnecessary issue in the House.
He expressed anger on TDP leaders that they are blocking the Assembly proceedings in the name of Polavaram. On the occasion, he recalled Chief Minister's words in the House that the Polavaram project works would start from 1st November.
YSRCP MLA Malladi Vishnu said the earlier TDP government had done corruption in the Polavaram. He alleged that the central government had announced Polavaram as a national project but selfishness the previous government has taken into their hands.
He said that it is not right for the TDP members to protest by saying the projects works had stopped. Over the corruption in the project, the government has formed the expert's committee, and within 15 days, the committee will submit the report.
MLA also said that Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy would take up the reverse tendering process in the Polavaram project. He said CM had given a clear explanation on all issues related to the Polavaram project.
